Creation of the Platform Integration UI involved multiple iterations and concept explorations of the user flow where we ensured that the client end admin/developer knew what stage of the process they were in, with the help of a clear progression system to reduce the users were anxiety/hesitancy during onboarding of the e-commerce platform process.
Worked closely with the Data Science team and Engineering team to define, wireframe, map userflow/journey, prototype, in order to integrate client e-commerce stores with our conversion rate optimization product.
Onboarding time of the client's e-commerce platform was a long and protracted manual process that used to take 14 days at a minimum, involving multiple teams over email to connect our backend API to the client's e-commerce platform.
I interviewed stakeholders of the onboarding process like Account Managers, Developers, and Client-side Admin to understand, and noted down key parts of the onboarding process, which could be productized.
Based on our support of e-commerce platforms, broke down the process into four key stages - plugin installation, configuring Domain ID, API keys, custom code, etc to integrate popular e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce, etc.
